California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a regulation (effective January 1, 2020) intended to enhance privacy rights and consumer protection for residents of California, United States of America. This section provides information, organized in accordance with the CCPA for residents of California, about how we handle certain personal information we have collected over the past 12 months.
Categories of Personal Information
BioEdge’s Privacy Policy discloses the categories of personal information that we collect, use, and disclose in connection with BioEdge’s Services over the past 12 months.
Collect. The section entitled What Information Is BioEdge Collecting? outlines the categories of information BioEdge collects from you in connection with your use of BioEdge services.
Use. The section entitled How Does BioEdge Use Your Information? discloses ways in which BioEdge uses your personal information.
Disclose. The section entitled Will BioEdge Share Your Personal Information? discloses that we share your personal information with, service providers, law enforcement authorities, and as needed with third parties to provide our services.
BioEdge will never sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
Requests for Deletion; Right to Know Your Information.
Pursuant to the CCPA, California consumers have the right to make the following requests regarding their personal information:
Deletion. You have the right to request deletion of personal information that we have collected about you.
Right to Know. You have the right to request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information that we have collected about you over the past 12 months, including the categories of information, sources, and purposes of collection, as well as categories of third parties we have shared it with.
Designated Agent. You may designate an agent to make a request on your behalf. The identity of any such Designated Agent will need to be verified by BioEdge.
Right to Non-discrimination
BioEdge will not discriminate against California consumers by denying goods or services; charging a different price or rate for goods or services; or providing a different level or quality of goods or services; based upon a consumer’s exercise of any CCPA rights.
