Science of BioEdge

Our next generation mineral based technology uses ultra small positively charged ions (Cu²⁺, Zn²⁺, and Ag⁺) that readily penetrate harmful microorganisms, enabling the treatment to act twice as fast and up to four times more effectively than competing products. These ions are naturally attracted to negatively charged microbial membranes and employ a broad spectrum, multi targeted mode of action that disrupts membrane permeability and nutrient transport while binding to sulfur containing amino acids to block essential metabolic enzymes.

BioEdge works at gentle, controlled levels that selectively cause cell lysis (destruction) in harmful microbes including bacteria, algae, fungi, and viruses without sterilizing the entire system and preserving the natural balance of water, soil, and production environments. Beneficial microbes are largely unaffected because they possess stronger membrane defenses, lower metal uptake, and can tolerate the low concentrations used. This multi pathway mechanism also makes it almost impossible for harmful microbes to develop resistance.
